BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Brazil defeated Argentina 3-2 in futsal semifinals on Monday and will meet Russia in the tournament's final at the Buenos Aires Youth Games.
The main futsal stadium in Tecnopolis Park was filled to its maximum capacity of 6,500 people. "It's a unique feeling. It was my dream to reach a final after winning a game like today. Now we're going to work to win gold," said Brazil player Wesley Reinaldo Santos de Franca after the match.
Argentina's goalkeeper Cristian Vargas lamented the host team's defeat. He said: "I think we did everything to win the match, but we lacked the luck necessary to get the victory."
In the other semifinal, Russia defeated Egypt 3-1.
